Here are the world’s largest trucks ever built in history.

Some trucks were built with extraordinarily huge sizes. These trucks were built for special uses and purposes.


1.) Bucyrus MT6300AC Haul Truck


This vehicle is probably the largest haul truck ever built in history. Bucyrus MT6300AC by Bucyrus International Inc of the United States is the company’s largest and highest payload capacity haul truck. MT6300AC is the world’s largest haul truck payload capacity which is up to 363 tons. This gigantic truck’s engine can produce 3,750 horsepower (2,800 kW). When fully loaded, it can reach a top speed of 64 km/h.

2.) Caterpillar 797F Haul Truck


Caterpillar 797F is one of the largest trucks ever built in the world. This powertrain haul truck, which was developed and manufactured by Caterpillar Inc of the United States, was introduced in 2008. It is the company’s largest and highest payload capacity haul truck. It has a payload capacity of 363 tons and can attain a top speed of 68 km/h when fully loaded.

3.) Liebherr T 282B Haul Truck


Liebherr T 282B is one of the most gigantic trucks ever built in the world. This off-highway, ultra-class, rigid frame, two-axle, diesel/electric, AC powertrain haul truck is Liebherr Mining Equipment Co’s largest and highest capacity haul truck. It has a payload capacity of up to 360 tons. This haul truck from Virginia, USA cannot be driven on public roads. A single unit of T 282B can costs up to $5 million. It is 7.4 meters in height and a length of 14.5 meters with a 6.6 meters wheelbase.

4.) Komatsu 960E-1 Haul Truck


Komatsu 960E-1 of Komatsu America Corp in Illinois, USA is the company’s largest and highest capacity haul truck. This ultra-class, off-way haul truck has a payload capacity of up to 327 tons. It was introduced in 2008 and its engine can produce 3,500 Hp. It is 15.6 meters in length, a width of 9.19 meters and a height of 7.37 meters. When fully load, it can attain a top speed of 64 km/h.
