Water is one of the most important elements in the world. This chemical substance has a chemical formula H2O and a molecule of water contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms.

Without food we can survive but without water we can’t. Here are some unique water formations in the word.

Naruto Whirlpool

Whirlpools are unique water formations and one of the most notable whirlpools in the world is the Naruto Whirlpools in the Naruto Strait in Hyogo, Japan. The tide moves large amounts of water into the Inland Sea twice per day, and also removes large amounts of water twice a day. The current in the strait is the world’s 4th fastest and is the fastest in Japan with a speed of up to 20 km/h and creates vortices up to 20 meters in diameter.

One of the most unique and of-of-a-kind attractions in the world is the Pantanal, a tropical wetland. Pantanal is the largest wetland of any kind in the world and it is located in Brazil. Some portion of it extends to Bolivia and Paraguay covering an area of up to 195 km².

Sine-Saloum is a natural region located north of The Gambia and has an area of 180,000 hectares. This area that features a unique water formation is a river delta. Saloum delta national Park is located in this region. This river delta was formed by the confluence of two rivers.

Dauner Maare

Daunere Maare are bodies of water that form in volcanic craters. These unusual water formations are located in Daun, a town in Vulkaneifel district in Rhineland-Palatine, Germany.
